What a disappointment: 1. They fired their designers and put features over elegance. Thats the opposite of what made the app great. 2. Using their own servers for cloud storage? Forget it, Im not going to trust my most personal info to a small company like that. Ill continue to use Version 1 until it breaks. How sad.

no iCloud Support? really? still using the old version, which has iCloud support

They cut features from v1 and want to sell that as a new v2 that needs to be purchased again. Promised full end to end encryption for version 2.1 is not mentioned all in a sudden in the release notes - fool others,..

The multiple photos per entry is a feature I have waited for, for a few years. Now, I love it. I use it throughout my travels (been travelling for a couple of years), often to inspire my FB travel entries.

The new version is worth every penny. Great update.

It has a great UI, its easy to use and convenient all of which makes keeping a journal a pleasurable experience.

Excellent journal app, and it keeps improving all the time. The only thing I havent figured out yet is if it displays the map of places you visit, full screen.

The interface doesnt work and just crashes. Heard such good things. Going to be asking for a refund.

Ive been using Day One for at least 4 years now. Its a stable app with a good amount of features. Due to their popularity it looks like theyll be around for a while so thats a bonus. Ive tried many apps but none seem to be as established as this one with good cross platform capabilities.

Great app. My favourite feature is the ability to export my journals (text, photos, and all) as PDFs.

love this app! an easy way to make one small memory each day of ordinary, everyday life. I find my teenage kids scrolling through it occasionally, just for fun....me too! a quick photo with a comment, so easy. Great improvements in Vers. 2, like being able to save places that I use often, seeing all the tags at a glance, and others. Well done!

Little pricy to get all the versions of the app but really well done.

I have been using Day One for journaling and keeping track of my goals, writing, research and documenting trips. Great app with flexibility to meet my needs for my many projects.

I downloaded a few journaling apps to record my daily activities. had to buy this app with lot of glorified internet reviews because there was no trial version. Unfortunately i would say this has the worst interface out of all . Having numerous microscopic fonts won’t make the interface simpler. At least they don’t have a simple help file. This was the most difficult app to figure out of the 3 apps i downloaded. Sad to say the best out of the three was the free app, “ My secret Diary” . You should have taken a leaf from them.
