Bloom ruined a great app
I purchased and used Day One on everyone of my devices --iPhone, iPad, iMac, Mac Pro, Apple Watch. I loved and recommended Day One to everyone who indicated a desire to journal, but couldnt get started. Many similarly purchased and used Day One. But, when Bloom eliminated the iCloud sync, and substitued their own paid subscription sync service, Day One lost its appeal. Ive years of jounaling on Day One, but no more. Blooms excuse that it wanted to assure proper encription is baloney. I paid for the app; Im willing to pay for updates. But I should continue to be able to chose which sync client i want to use. Bring back the option of using iCloud sync, which I already pay for and meets my security concerns. Let the customer make the choice. Such a disappointment; I can no longer recommed Day One.
