Was great...
This was a great app. One of my favorites... I was telling my friends they needed to try it out, because it just worked so seamlessly, was so beautiful... this is all still true, but the subscription system means Im leaving and I now have to apologize to my friends and recommend they look elsewhere also. I want sync, and Im willing to pay $55 to have it on my mac and iPhone. I was saving to pay for the mac version, but Im not paying an annual fee for the right to sync. I already pay for iCloud. Im not paying annual or monthly dues for this other service as well...Best of luck to you all at DayOne. You made a good product. Wish you had kept with a pay model I was willing to work with. Unfortunately, subscription just isnt going to happen for me.
*In response to the developers comment. That may be true, but I bought it with the intent that it could sync between my mac and iPhone at the price I was paying. Now, you want me to pay that price every year for that ability. My iPhone can sync for no annual subscription fee, but that does me no good when I have to pay annually for my mac to access the syncd info. It makes the program worthless to me. Again, great program, but there are alternatives that you have now made a far better value.
